A cool and classy place to spend time with friends that will cost nothing: this was the brief provided by the client for a spacious Two Bedroom apartment in the heart of Jumeirah. The idea was to create a hub where friends could gather in comfort and privacy, a sort of base or ‘majlis’ for a close group of friends to connect and catch up.

With an expansive outdoor terrace and relatively large internal areas, I worked within the client’s budget by using a balanced approach to procurement. Quality for key items was important to ensure longevity, while more affordable alternatives for less critical pieces helped keep costs in line.
